Practical AI for everyday business
AI doesn't have to be complicated or risky. We identify the repetitive tasks eating your team's time, such as data entry, document processing, reporting and email triage, and hand them to AI safely, with the right guardrails.
The result is less manual work, fewer mistakes and smoother processes, so your team can focus on meaningful output.
We are deliberately unexcited about AI as a category. Most of what gets sold as AI transformation is a licence upsell attached to a tool nobody adopts. The work that actually pays back tends to be unglamorous: the form that gets retyped into a second system, the report someone rebuilds every month, the inbox that gets triaged by hand every morning.
Where we start, and what we leave alone
A task is a good candidate for automation when it is repetitive, rule-based, high volume and low judgement, and when getting it wrong is recoverable. Data entry between systems, extracting figures from invoices and forms, drafting routine correspondence from a template, summarising long documents, routing enquiries to the right person: these are the ones that repay the effort.
A task is a poor candidate when it needs judgement, when the volume is too low to justify building anything, or when an error would be expensive and hard to spot. We will tell you when something falls into that category rather than automating it because it is technically possible.
Most of what we build sits inside tools you already own. If you have Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Power Automate and Copilot are already in the licence, and a large proportion of the useful work needs no new subscription at all. Where a specialist tool genuinely is the right answer we will say so, along with what it costs.
Every rollout comes with governance: which data may be sent to which system, who is allowed to use what, what gets logged, and a written policy your team can actually follow. That matters most in regulated sectors, where feeding client information into a public model is a data protection problem rather than a productivity gain.
Our AI Integration service includes:
- AI opportunity audits finding where automation genuinely pays off
- Microsoft Copilot rollouts deployed with security and training
- Workflow automation connecting the systems you already use
- Document intelligence extracting data from invoices, forms and contracts
- AI chat and assistants for internal knowledge and customer service
- Governance and safety clear policies so AI is used responsibly
- Licence checks so you use what you already own before buying anything new
How a rollout runs
Small, measured and reversible. Nothing goes live across the business until it has proven itself somewhere small.
- 1. Opportunity audit. We sit with the people doing the work and time the tasks that eat the day. The output is a shortlist ranked by hours saved against effort to build.
- 2. Pick one. We start with a single process, chosen because it is painful, measurable and safe to get wrong once.
- 3. Build and pilot. A small group runs it alongside the manual process for a fortnight, so you can compare the two rather than trust a promise.
- 4. Measure. Hours saved and error rates, against the baseline we took in step one. If the numbers are not there, we say so and stop.
- 5. Roll out, then repeat. Training, written guidance and a governance policy go out with it. Then we move to the next item on the shortlist.
Support and service levels
Anything we build for you is documented and supported, not handed over as a black box that only we understand. Automations are monitored, and if one breaks it is treated as a support ticket under the same contractual response times as the rest of your service: 15 minutes for a critical failure, 30 minutes for high priority, backed by service credits.
AI tooling moves quickly, so what we deployed six months ago is not always still the best way to do it. Reviewing that is part of ongoing support rather than a separate engagement.
What this looks like in practice
Automation work is newer than the rest of what we do, so we have one published example rather than three. It is a fair illustration of the pattern: an unglamorous process, measured before and after.
Why choose CT1 for AI Integration?
- Business-first approach: we automate outcomes, not buzzwords
- Security and data privacy built into every rollout
- Measurable results: hours saved, errors reduced
- Ongoing support as the technology evolves
