Your outsourced IT department
We act as your complete IT department, taking ownership of your entire tech stack so you never have to think about IT again. Issues are caught and resolved early, keeping your team working smoothly with less downtime, fewer emergencies and far less stress.
Every client gets fast, friendly support from familiar engineers who know your business and how you work, no repeating yourself, no being passed around.
We look after more than 80 businesses across Kent, most of them between 5 and 100 staff, in sectors where an hour of downtime costs real money: law firms, accountancy practices, care providers, construction companies, schools and retailers. Most of them came to us after outgrowing a one-person IT provider, or after losing patience with a national helpdesk that treated them as a ticket number.
What we take on, and what stays with you
Managed support from CT1 covers everything your business needs in order to keep working: the laptops and desktops your team uses every day, the servers and cloud services behind them, the network they connect over, and the identities, licences and backups that hold it all together. If it plugs in, logs in or bills you monthly, it is in scope.
That includes the parts most providers quietly leave out. Vendor management means we chase your broadband supplier, your line-of-business software provider and your printer company so your staff do not have to. Procurement means we specify and source hardware at trade pricing rather than pointing you at a retail website. Starters and leavers are handled end to end, from ordering the laptop to revoking the last account on someone's final day.
What stays with you is the decision-making. We recommend, we cost it up, we explain the trade-offs in plain English, and you decide. Nothing is bought or changed without your sign-off.
Project work sits outside the monthly fee: office moves, migrations, new site builds and anything else with a defined beginning and end. It is quoted separately and itemised in writing before you commit, never added to a bill afterwards.

Response times you can hold us to

- 15 minutes
High
- What it means
- Service is severely impaired

Uptime, cover and credits
Alongside those response times we guarantee 99.99% network uptime. Fall below it and service credits apply on a sliding scale, rising to 100% of the monthly fee if uptime drops under 99%. Hardware failures carry their own replacement guarantees, with a two-hour target on drives, memory, power supplies and network interfaces.
Standard cover runs 08:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, with 24/7 cover available where your operation genuinely needs it. Every ticket is logged, prioritised and visible to you, so nothing depends on remembering who you spoke to.
How onboarding works
Switching provider sounds disruptive. Done properly it is not, because the work happens around your team rather than to them.
- 1. Discovery. We audit what you actually have: every device, licence, server, network device and supplier contract. You get the findings whether or not you go ahead with us.
- 2. Transition plan. We agree what needs fixing immediately, what can wait, and how we take over from your current provider without leaving a gap in cover.
- 3. Tooling and access. Monitoring, patching, backup and security agents are deployed to every device, and admin credentials are transferred and properly documented.
- 4. Go live. We take over support from an agreed date. Your team gets one number, one email address and a portal, plus an introduction to the engineers who will be looking after them.
- 5. First review. Thirty days in we walk you through what we found, what we fixed and what we recommend next.
Fixed fees, no surprises
A simple, predictable monthly cost covers your whole environment. No surprise bills, no hidden extras, just dependable support that grows with your business.
Pricing is per user per month, so it scales predictably when you hire and comes down if you shrink. There is no charge per ticket and no hourly rate, which means we are paid to prevent problems rather than to turn up after them.
